We are so excited to finally show you one of our favorite weddings of 2009. We held off on blogging it until now, because it was selected to be published by our favorite wedding mag, Southern Weddings, on their site - (click here to check out the 3 posts they put up for the wedding of the week, along with some fun details and musings from Kristen!) we were so totally thrilled and honored to be chosen!!! omg omg omg!!! :)
Sea Island is an unbelievable, dreamy place, and when Kristen first called and talked to me about her desire to have a great gatsby themed wedding at the cloister resort on this private island, I was salivating. From the dress, to the tuxes and crystal chandeliers suspended in the old, Georgia trees, to the feather boas, masks, top hats and canes that came out for the reception - this wedding was off the charts beautiful. and to add even more to the beauty, kristen and grant are really, really, really ridiculously good looking! fo sho!
