yes, we get to run our own businesses, have husband+wife coffee dates at 10 am whenever we want, spend time with our radical kiddos, do what we love for a living, teach others how to do the same, and never have a “case of the mondays”. but more than that, this job brings with it the most amazing gift - our clients. seriously, people. If you are in this business, and you are not overjoyed by the quirky, hilarious, beautiful people you get to work with, you aren’t focusing on the right things. we are frequently reminded that we, through being wedding photographers, get to meet some of the world’s most radical people and they make us a part of their story. need an example? just look at yuko + eddy. they are getting married next year at Niagra Falls and have brought us into their worlds to be a part of it. Eddy is a designer and proposed to yuko using a book he sketched out.
